“ This place is great! The chorizo is the real deal. Never buy it at the store if you can get it here. They have an array of meats and seafood. They also have other hispanic cheese and creams. The meat looks fresh and their sour cream cake was so good. They are super friendly and aren't rushing you. I went during the week so it wasn't crowded. Oh and they are bilingual! “ My parents love this butcher/meat processing store. They have been coming for year. They order from them several times a year. The meat is A1. My mom will call in an order and in a few days they drive down to Waxhaw and pick up their order. The shop gets busy on Saturday and has become very popular. The parking can get tight. You will find a line inside and no parking if you come on a Saturday. My parents have built a relationship with the owners and they are very friendly. You can tell they care about their customers and their product. We were missing some items from an order one time and they quickly fixed it. You don't have to place an order ahead of time. You can come and shop inside the store they have attached to the processing area. Be mindful of you want items close to a holiday because they can get busy. I remember during Super Bowl season they were out of wings. “ We've been shopping at Frontier Meat Processing recently and have enjoyed the service. Not a fancy place but a true butcher where you can buy custom cut meats. It tends to get busy throughout the day and recommend make a list of what you may need to purchase. I would also keep in mind that there will be lines out the door especially during upcoming holidays. The pricing is pretty good but can't really tell since we are in a middle of a pandemic. Therefore not many sales are going on here or even in the big box markets. Look forward to shopping their again soon! ”
“ The fact that I can buy local grassfed at such affordable prices makes me a customer for life! Never ever have I been able to buy ribeye, t-bone, sirloin, chicken thighs, chicken wings, pork chops, pork tenderloin in bulk and spend less than $160! Their grassfed steaks are absolutely delicious when cooked properly. I had no issues with the staff. They were very helpful and courteous, even when I asked for a specific cut, and they went and cut it for me in the amount I needed. And the drive there is quite scenic and worth the 35 minutes it takes me to arrive. Weekends can be very crazy! So be forewarned. You can call in your order ahead of time too. If you have a big family or a big event coming up, consider buying your meat here to save $$$$. ”
“ I love this place, I get my holdiay whole prime rib roast every year! I can choose from the cheaper grass fed local beef or angus beef. they have all kinds of meats, chicken etc. they make their own chorizo (spelling may be off) which smells amazing when you come inside. dont see what you need just ask! want a thicker cut steak ask! need something special then call ahead and have it waiting on you. got a family member that wants to stock up on their meats? go in together on a 1/2 or 1/4 cow for even cheaper rates! yes I asked them and the price averages out to around $2-3 per pound when buying this way! the chicken wings from here are very big and meaty. the staff is always friendly. my objective negative is the mexican stuff going on outside!- the taco truck or the flea market type stand near the road.. people just leave me alone and let me get my food fix on ”
